Biography:

Norman Osborn, portrayed by Willem Dafoe, is the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's 2002 Spider-Man film, part of Sony's Marvel Universe. A brilliant but unstable scientist and CEO of Oscorp, Osborn seeks a competitive edge by experimenting on himself with an unstable performance-enhancing serum.

The serum enhances his physical abilities and intellect but also drives him to madness, creating an alternate personality: the Green Goblin. He dons a green armored suit and uses advanced Oscorp technology, including a Goblin Glider and pumpkin bombs, to wreak havoc on New York City.

Osborn, as the Green Goblin, quickly becomes Spider-Man's first major supervillain, challenging Peter Parker both physically and morally. His first appearance is in the 2002 Spider-Man movie.
